Privacy Policy

Etron (“we”, “us”) is an AI back-office assistant for small businesses, operated from Malaysia and available at asketron.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices — including for interactions through Facebook Messenger and Facebook Pages.
Data we collect
- Account data — name and email when a business signs in (e.g. via Google).
- Business records — data our business customers store to run their operations: customer contacts, orders, invoices, products, and payment records.
- Messages — conversations with the assistant across connected channels (WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, web chat), including message content and channel identifiers such as Facebook page-scoped IDs (PSIDs), used to reply and to carry out requests like taking an order.
- Payment proof — receipt images a customer chooses to submit for order verification.
How we use it
- To provide the service: answering messages, recording orders, drafting invoices and payment reminders.
- To let the business owner review and approve actions before they happen.
- To secure and troubleshoot the service (operational logs).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Processors we rely on
We use trusted infrastructure to run the service: cloud hosting, a managed database, AI model providers (message content is processed to generate replies), and Meta’s platform APIs for Messenger and Pages. Each processor receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Retention & deletion
We keep data for as long as the business account is active or as required for legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time — see our data deletion instructions. We comply with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
